Full Day of Learning + Networking

A full day of workshops, panel discussions, and hands-on activities. Get your shit together in six hours or less!

Passholders: it's all for you! complimentary admission and lots and lots of bennies and handouts

Everyone else: on-site registration available at full passholder price, if space permits

make\break GO! is the main event of our SPRING TRAINING week. We've got three great professional classrooms in the classy-as-heck Pappajohn Center in downtown Des Moines. And we're prepped to load you up with workshops and panels on web and technical skills, independent business skills (taxes OMG), and those oh-so-tricky "soft skills" like talking about yourself, personal productivity, and winning over clients.

You'll also have a chance to share what you know, if you like. After all, teaching is the best way to learn.

We'll provide lunch, coffee and snacks, loads of handouts and workbooks, opportunities to network and meet potential collaborators, and many other benefits to get you on the road to living the creative and independent life that you've been working toward.

Bonus: your new headshot from Just ADG

Des Moines photographer Adrienne Gross of Just ADG will be taking appointments beginning at 9am for "lighting headshots". Pose for a few snaps, work with her right then to choose a favorite, and you'll get a full-quality, ready-to-use headshot photograph delivered shortly after the event. A great headshot comes in handy again and again when you're doing your own thing. This is an incredible value and included at no charge with your pass.
